Super Bowl Commercial is not on your side

For the last few years, I have been blogging a list of the best Super Bowl commercials shown during the big game.  However, this year, most of the Super Bowl commercials were unremarkable (which is astounding considering 30 second spot during the game cost 4.5 million dollars).  The only…

CM Punk and the World of Pro Wrestling

In January 2014, the night after the Royal Rumble Pay Per View, the wrestling world was turned upside down by one of its top stars.  CM Punk.  He approached WWE head Vince McMahaon and, in that meeting, wound up leaving the company, never to be seen in a WWE ring again.

Speculation was rampant about the reasons behind Punk's departure, and the dirt sheets had a field day.  Some claimed that Punk left because he was unhappy with the direction of his character, some…

Goldmine!

I truly enjoyed Big Hero 6.

It was a fun, entertaining, beautifully animated origin story of a super hero team featuring some original characters.  These characters were based loosely on a group of characters from Marvel Comics.  In the comics, mutant and Uncanny Avenger member Sunfire and villain Silver Samurai were involved.

There is actually very little that would connect the two versions together.  In the comic,Baymax can transform into a…
